Hiu Tung Gloria, Lam is an international student from Singapore, a senior majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is fluent in three languages: English, Mandarin and Cantonese and is striving to become a speech-language pathologist. She has been working on her honors thesis with postdoctoral fellow Christina Zhao and Dr. Patricia Kuhl. Her research examines the relation between early music training and working memory, and has recently been awarded the Mary Gates Research Scholarship for Winter and Spring 2017. She believes that this research experience will help her better implement research knowledge into clinical practice in the future.
