In February, 2005, Dr. John Bruer, President of the McDonnell Foundation, visited the Institute in his role as the chair of the LIFE Center Advisory Board. He met with Institute scientists to have a close up look at the labs, and to engage in a discussion of issues in bridging the neuroscience/education gap.
