Bio

Sabine Thomas is an Outreach and Education Specialist. In this role Dr. Thomas communicates the latest science of child development to the public, parents, educators and caregivers. She has had the opportunity to deliver workshops and information about infant mental health to the early learning community including legislators and public health officials.

Dr. Thomas is a current Fellow in the NAPA Parent Infant Mental Health program. She earned a B.A. in Sociomedical Sciences from Mount Holyoke College and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. Dr. Thomas was a T32 National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (formerly NCCAM), post-doctorate research fellow at Bastyr University where she extensively utilized qualitative research methods. She is also an infant massage educator and enjoys learning from her growing toddler son.
