Steven has been working since 2015 in the ​Cognition​ and Cortical Dynamics Lab (CCDL) at I-LABS.  As a Research Technologist he has ​developed visualization software for EEG, and interfaces between transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) hardware and experiment software in Python​. He works with multiple methods of transcranial stimulation and performs EEG analysis in this role. ​His research interests center on exploring how directly modifying brain activity can improve human performance and cognitive abilities. Prior to joining CCDL, he received a B.A. in Psychology from Creighton University​, and worked as a vision therapist, research technician and software developer for an EEG manufacturer.
