Research Interests

    • Social-cognitive development

    • The philosophy and psychology of perspectives

    • Social learning including imitation

    • Joint action / cooperation

Current Research Projects

    • exploring the impact of an adult’s co-presence and communicative actions on young children’s perspective-taking abilities

    • young children’s understanding of ‘perceiving as’: when and how do they apprehend that others might perceive a given object in a certain way—which might differ from the way the child herself sees the object (with Andrew Meltzoff and Craig Harris)
